Tasting Notes:

St. Rose of Lima was born in the city of Lima Peru on the 20th April 1586, she was beatified in 1667 and later canonized 1671, the first in the Americas to be so honored.

Patron Saint of the Americas, the ridiculed and misunderstood.

Blend:

50% Cabernet
50% Merlot

Winemaking:

On Skins for 4 hours before bleeding off juice, wild ferment in 25% new French Oak Hogsheads, light lees contact for 6 months.

Aroma:

Fresh and vibrant with lifted aromatics of wild cherry.

Palate:

A dry herbal rose that is crisp and textural with lingering fruits of the forest.
